GDPR Rights
Last updated: 1 January 2026
1. About GDPR
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union law that protects personal data. Even though we are based in Australia, we respect and comply with GDPR for all users, no matter where they are located.
This page explains your rights under GDPR and how to use them.
2. Data Controller
The data controller for all personal data collected through gamivorix.com is:
Gamivorix.com
46 Bourke Street, Cairns QLD 4870, Australia
Email: support@gamivorix.com
As data controller, we decide how and why your personal data is processed. We are responsible for keeping it safe.
3. Your GDPR Rights - Detailed List
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
3.1 Right of Access (Article 15)
You have the right to ask us if we hold any personal data about you. If we do, you can request a copy of that data. We will provide it in a clear, readable format within 30 days of your request.
You can also ask us:
- Why we are processing your data.
- What types of data we hold.
- Who we have shared it with.
- How long we plan to keep it.
- Where we got the data (if not directly from you).
3.2 Right to Correction (Article 16)
If any of the personal data we hold about you is wrong or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to fix it. We will correct the data without undue delay.
To request a correction, email us with the details that need to be changed.
3.3 Right to Deletion / Right to Be Forgotten (Article 17)
You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data. We will do so when:
- The data is no longer needed for its original purpose.
- You withdraw your consent (and there is no other legal reason to keep it).
- You object to the processing and there is no overriding reason to continue.
- The data was processed unlawfully.
- The law requires us to delete it.
We may need to keep some data if required by law (e.g., for tax or legal records).
3.4 Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18)
You can ask us to limit how we use your data. This means we will store the data but not use it further. You can request this when:
- You dispute the accuracy of the data (while we verify it).
- The processing is unlawful but you prefer restriction over deletion.
- We no longer need the data, but you need it for legal claims.
- You have objected to processing (while we assess your objection).
3.5 Right to Data Portability (Article 20)
You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, common, machine-readable format (such as CSV or JSON). You can also ask us to send your data directly to another service provider, where this is technically possible.
This right applies to data you gave us based on your consent or a contract.
3.6 Right to Object (Article 21)
You have the right to object to us processing your data. This applies when we process data based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing.
If you object to direct marketing, we will stop immediately. For other objections, we will stop unless we can show a strong legal reason to continue.
3.7 Right to Withdraw Consent
If you gave us consent to process your data, you can take it back at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that happened before you withdrew it.
To withdraw consent:
- Email us at support@gamivorix.com with the subject line "Withdraw Consent".
- Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.
- Change your cookie preferences using our cookie consent banner on any page.
3.8 Right Not to Be Subject to Automated Decision-Making (Article 22)
You have the right not to be subject to decisions based only on automated processing (including profiling) that have legal or significant effects on you. We do not use automated decision-making on our site.
